Feature Wall Commission for AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center -
Ten 4x6 foot painting/ecoresin semi-transparent panels for a 100 foot feature wall. The painting panels are layered with satellite maps of the community served by the hospital and embedded between two layers of ecoresin, which is recycled from water and other bottles. With this bird’s eye view, patients and visitors can examine the art to find the location of where they live or work. The panels also depict the relationship and close proximity of local priceless wetlands, including the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. An aerial view will remind the viewer about our human presence in an area which must be protected from environmental dangers.

Price will change depending on size, Installation not included

art for public (and private) spaces

My work focuses on environmental issues, regardless of the series or substrate. I portray imagery of the planet's fragile beauty while questioning our culture, which promotes instant gratification while ignoring evolving consequences. I feel obligated to make work that addresses these issues.

I offer acrylic paintings on canvas or work constructed of various textiles often combining media to attain intricate textures using an accumulation of thin layers of color and delicate line work created with stitching. For art in public spaces, I create artwork on industrial textile or Ecoresin panels. Mosaic or glass installations can also be constructed utilizing a qualified fabricator.

I have worked with clients who have commissioned me to make artwork for libraries, corporate offices, hospital and hotel lobbies, restaurants and private residences. I also exhibit my work and have had 18 solo shows and have been part of many group shows.
