This is an original painting, 12"x12" acrylic and fabric on 1.5" deep cradled panel. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and finished with clear wax, so the piece can be hung without a frame. The painting itself is finished with a UV varnish and cold wax to protect the surface and give it a beautiful sheen.
"Passionately” is one of my latest pattern paintings, using imported Japanese fabric as a first layer. I use deep red-violets contrasting with golden yellows and dark blues in this dramatic piece.
