Any authentic material deserves attention

Originally from the farmlands of Switzerland, now in Quebec, Canada for the past 40 years, my journey through creations and ideas started alongside my father, with sign making, followed by construction, architecture and design as well as music and photography. These disciplines and interests naturally merged with the desire to make art, especially one-of-a-kind concrete/wood furniture and abstract oil paintings.

Infinite curiosity is the core of my work, while multitasking and intuition lead to the simple quest of creating aesthetically interesting and captivating pieces. The creative process is a journey of discovery, redefining certain boundaries and transforming established techniques and materials into distinct, original pieces.

An inventory of work is available upon request, but I also enjoy collaborating on specially commissioned custom furniture, designed and built to fit specific contexts and spaces.
