This box is a custom design that is unlike anything else on the internet. It is handcrafted from padauk, maple, and walnut woods. If you aren’t familiar with padauk, it is a beautiful red colored exotic wood from central and tropical west Africa. I acquired a large board from a local woodworking show.
The box measures 6.25 inches tall by 7.5 inches wide and is 2.75 inches thick. It weighs a solid 1.5 lbs. It features one soft red suede lined drawer to protect whatever you wish to store inside. To enhance the aesthetic, the custom maple drawer pull seamlessly melds with the overall design.
The box is finished with wipe on poly and buffed with beeswax to leave a glass like finish. Every curve is meticulously polished, beckoning your fingertips to explore its smoothness.
