An archival pigment print on archival, matte, museum-quality Epson art paper.
33x50 inch print with a 1/2 inch border around the edge allowing for a variety of framing options.
This is a print of an original 48 x 72 inch painting with oil, wax, and coffee on cradled wood panel. The painting was created exclusively for The Rubin Report set by artist Caylin Rose Janet.
Order ∞ Chaos is an abstract, symbolic, and visual language that explores the backbone of how to find balance within the self and thus the interconnected nature of all forms of energy-seen and unseen.
The nature of chaos is both possibilities and the unknown. There are underlying patterns and order within physics and thus nature. A seed must go through momentary breakdown, to allow for all the possibilities of growth within given patterns of physics. Within chaos theory, there is always an element of unpredictability in the outcome. The course of the unfolding future is always relative to the ever present and changing ‘Now’. This painting was inspired by the themes of The Rubin Report and finding “sanity within the chaos”. I see the necessity, beauty, and balance of this ongoing dance, and represent it within the visual and abstract dialogue of this painting.
