OLIO is a body of work centred around mixed metals, using natural bronze, white bronze, and brass together in one form. Each piece is hand sculpted from clay or wax my me, and then cast directly to keep each deliberate movement of the texture intact, in various metal mixes.
The name itself, OLIO, evokes the viscosity and sensuality of oil as the metals melt and mould themselves around one another, giving life to a molten piece of art.
