"If you were a cloud, and sailed up there,
You'd sail on the water as blue as air.
And you'd see me here in the fields and say:
"Doesn't the sky look green today?”

Where am I going? I don't quite know.
What does it matter where people go?
Down to the wood where the blue-bells grow-
Anywhere, anywhere. I don't know.”
- A.A. Milne

Sometimes one color is all we need to really feel seen and heard. We hope this color is that for you. Inspired by the desire to see the world as we once did, where we felt safe coloring the sky green and the water pink.

9" x 12” original acrylic and plaster on canvas.

Painting comes unframed. The canvases are painted on all side making framing optional.
Please note that there will be a slight delay in the delivery of the frame as we order and ship it to you.

Emily Tingey is a painter of modern impressionism and abstract landscapes in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her at home studio, a small room inside her early 1900's home with creaky wood floors and a cardinal who nests in the tree outside her windows is her calm, her sanctuary to recall views and emotions from her travels around the world and walks around her neighborhood.
