Ceramic flowers from the Jequitinhonha Valley turned into lamp and canopy, with lacy painting. The led lamp is housed in a shapely solid wood base that simulates the kernel. The wire is lined in organic cotton grown in Paraíba by family farmers.

Design and Art with Brazilian Soul

My motivation came from my soul and flows openly, on my face and my work. I love what I do and
I do it with intensity, I live every moment and I transmit every emotion.

In each project I dive deep into the region, into their craft and into the lives of the people who do them.
It is a dive governed by research and gaze, guided by the heart, made with respect and with the
rhythm dictated by time. I transform and provoke transformations, attitudes that reflect in the
surroundings and beyond.

I believe that design is one of the ways to value and eternalize these ancestral knowledges and the
importance of nature around us, so I try to use all the tools that I have to stitch all of this together
into a patchwork of infinite possibilities, creating feelings and generating emotions.

Through Yankatu I expose not only my work, but also, and perhaps most importantly, the work of
artisans connected to mine. It is a huge responsibility that I feel because I end up bringing with me
the dream of many.

I hope to be able to respond to all the affection and confidence that I receive from these
wonderful people, and I hope to be able to pass on to you, reader, these same emotions, so I
can continue to do that for as long as I live.

Thank you for taking the time to know a bit about my work.
