The third last mural I painted in 2019 at Hunters Hill High School. It was a gift from the year 12 students to the school and dedicated to Atticus a student and Bruce the librarian teacher who sadly passed away during the year.

The story of Atticus the Platypus

Once there was a platypus called Atticus the Platypus and he was a magical platypus who had the power to make ice blocks appear out of thin air (but only when it was a hot day). When he was feeling like an ice block all he had to do was close his eyes and dream of ice blocks and one would appear in his hand. He made the most of his sweet ability and opened an ice cream shop called Atticus the Platypus's Ye Olde Magical Ice Cream shop and in the summer he did a roaring trade.

The story of Bruce the Brolga

Once there was a brolga called Bruce the Brolga and he was a book lover and always had a book in his feathery hands even when he was flying around the place. One time he was flying around the place with too many books in his feathery hand and he crash landed at a school in Hunters Hill and then he made friends with everyone there and then he became the librarian teacher and was teaching all the students about reading and stuff of that nature.
