This is an example of a large scale piece of my work. This piece was made in five separate panels in my studio and then woven together on site at Modern Nomad in Denver, CO. Made exclusively from merino wool that was dyed and felted in my studio. The piece was commissioned by the owner of the space. She wanted an abstract, large piece that would be eye catching, inviting and intriguing. We worked together on the color palette and I submitted several designs before we landed on this one. Next a small mock up was created ( as pictured) Once that was approved, I started work on the final piece. Overall it measures 20 ft wide x 14 ft tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs
