Handmade to order from Robert’s studio in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. Robert realizes graduation is an amazing accomplishment and created his modern diploma frame to properly recognize the hard work that goes into this honor.
Robert Wolfkill is a fine furniture maker/ designer creating one of a kind work from his studio in Ball Ground Georgia.
A beautiful handcrafted gift for you or your grad, Robert’s modern diploma frame is crafted from a highest quality white oak panel with perfectly chamfered edges. White oak is cherished by furniture makers and designers for it’s strength and beautiful deep straight grain and modern appearance.
Say GOODBYE to your father’s FUDDY-DUDDY hobby lobby frame !
Robert uses the highest quality OPTX .220 thick ultra clear acrylic which is UV and shatter resistant. This 1/4” thick acrylic sets his frame apart from the competition! He chamfers the edges by hand giving it a modern finsished presentation!
Choose one of my most popular finishing options - Ebonized Oak, Natural Oak or Navy Blue!
Ebonized Oak Finish- Beautiful black tone with some natural brown or beige oak undertones. Robert uses an "old world" technique which reacts with the tannins naturally found inside oak to them the timber a glorious ebony tone but preserves all of the character of the timber.
Natural Oak Finish - No magic here, just beautiful select white oak - mother nature is taking all the credit. Robert sands the timber to 200 grit and finishes it glossy smooth with several coats of shellac and lacquer!
Choose your favorite grommet color -gold or stainless.
My Modern Diploma frame generously fits most High School, Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate sized diplomas up to 17" x 14"
Robert finishes each frame by hand with shellac and lacquer.
Hanging hardware is installed on the rear of the frame.
Installing your diploma to the frame is easy and accomplished with a handheld screwdriver! Robert will enclose directions with your order.
OVERALL Dimensions 19”x 16” x 3/4" thick- because this is a handmade item, dimensions are approximate!
