A quiet old fashioned courtyard makes this motel unique and most attractive but you cannot see this from their Lombard Street entrance.
Our client needed to catch the attention of commuters and tourists on their way to the Golden Gate Bridge to show off this main feature. They are proud that their family owned motel was built at the same time as the bridge and has been popular ever since. Our job was to create a sign that told this story. Painted on plywood in acrylic and coated with many applications of weather proofing.
