Lumberlust Designs creates bold artistic furniture and wood art from the most figured reclaimed hardwood slabs for your home or office. We collect rare burl and special wood slabs with movement and presence that have a story to share.
We primarily focus on made-to-order commissioned pieces but occasionally build inventory to flex new artistic designs that are for sale in a local boutique and online here. Our new Earth bones manzanita burl or Juniper Burl Tree table and resin cast pieces with mineral rock like sodalite, chrysocolla and other metaphysical gems are good examples of new styles I'm excited to explore.
For residential clients we've built mostly stand-alone furniture pieces like bold statement entry tables, coffee tables, dining tables, desks, etc. In some cases we've installed live edge slab vanities, or special built-ins like large corners desks, countertops, or shelving.
For commercial clients we've helped source and finish specialty wood slab surfaces for large scale build outs, We've made conference tables, bathroom vanities, natural live edge wood counter tops for retail and reception areas, as well as 30ft+ long slab bartops. My favorite has been a winged shaped burl reception countertop at JetSuiteX here in Phoenix for Swift Aviation.
