22.5” x 30” watercolor, oil pastel, and pencil on 100% cotton rag watercolor paper

Just as I was dozing off a full piece popped into my head. Knowing my memory wouldn’t recall the detail in the morning, I got took notes and got to work bringing the idea to life. Here are the notes I made for myself:

Rich crimson red bordering a soft light pink wash

Wash of that one blue, ya know?

Verdant green. Middle weight green

Three washes right justified. 1-2 large drips coming from each. Very minimal. soft. Chill out. Almost vintage.

Let the colors blend together in drops. Becoming purple off the blue. Turning white and yellow from the green.

Shakes a bit. Jagged round. Mimic a flower
