London Underground Train Journeys - Paintings

Price from $1,800 to $8,000

Creation: up to 6 weeks

This is an onoing series inspired by journeys on London’s Circle Line. I have completed several commissions on different lengths of aluminium - the longest being over 2 metres! Each painting represents a split second view - glimpses of concrete, tunnel, pipes and station signs stretched across the surface of the metal. There are 3 different colourways in this series, the red of Liverpool Street, the neutral colours captured between Sloane Square and South Kensington and flashes of colour in the tunnels.
Price depends on the size of the aluminium panel which is bespoke and can take several weeks to arrive. Smaller pieces take less time.

Distinctive sea and landscapes on aluminum

Caroline Hall began work as a Television broadcaster before studying for a masters degree in painting and much of her commissioned work is inspired by landscapes filmed from car and train windows. Her London Underground series has been shown throughout the UK, including Liberty’s of London and she has work in public and private collections worldwide. Although the artist works in a variety of styles it is her signature ‘speeding’ landscapes that are commissioned most regularly.
