Carl Albert State College wanted a mural to honor their namesake. This drawing of Carl Albert was taken from a photo of him at the very beginning of his career. I thought that mirrored college grads nicely. I tried out some optical illusion floating type and added a selfie spot so students could take a "Selfie with Carl" and get the perfect spot for the floating text effect.
