(If you wish to have the painting shipped in a tube, for free shipping, please advise. Note that you will have to take to a framer to professionally re-stretch the canvas).
All seven feet of creative freedom! Full of contrasts in colour and style.
Liberty.
No road map. No rules. Free to create. Organic. Soft. Hard. Linear. Layered. Graphic. Floral. Abstract. Nature. Graffiti. Blue on blue. Calm. Energetic. Unapologetically colourful. Always positive.
I began this painting as I usually do – intentionally – without a clear direction. I happened to be packaging up a painting shipment around the time that I was about half way through the work. I had not seen the painting that I was shipping in a while, and was really enjoying seeing it again, and the colours in it, with the predominance of blue. This work is definitely influenced by Frida 18, who was in my field of view for a couple of days.
Enjoy!
