LERKI Coaster is made from Icelandic larch in Hallormstaður, East Iceland.

It is handmade from the offcuts after crafting our cutting boards. Not only is it cute and practical but also prevents leftovers from going to waste. LERKI Coaster is finished with a traditional Japanese method Shou Sugi Ban to achieve the black finish.

Works perfectly as a coaster, snack serving board or simply a decorative object.

Unique wooden designs with Norse touch made from icelandic trees

Wood and crafting has always been a great part of my life. Since I was little I would help my grandfather on his farm and that’s when I fell in love with carpentry. I followed this passion and I’m a forester now, working in the biggest forest in Iceland - Hallormstadur.
I created Reynir to give free rein to my creativity and to put the skills I’ve learnt throught all these years to work.
