Laura’s Flower combines elements of abstract and figurative, classic and contemporary forms. The hand-textured aluminum material is configured to appear soft and fluid. The curved forms incorporate tubes, exposed bolts and applied color, meant to enliven the sculpture and surrounding area.

Artists Gus and Lina Ocamposilva are husband and wife team of sculptors who have obtained enormous respect in North America.

Self-taught sculptors, 18 years ago: He aims for the welding torch. She cuts the metal sheets. Some days, vise versa. Together they make and install metal sculptures around the world and share the same passion for art.

"Throughout the years we have worked in various media; clay, cast stone, resin, steel,
stainless steel and aluminum. We have also incorporated LED lights into our pieces.
Exploring all these different types of media has given us the opportunity to express
ourselves in multiple ways through our art, from tabletop size sculptures to 20 ft height
sculptures that have been bought by different Cities and Private entities . Although we
are always adding different textures, colors and accents to our artworks these unique
features allow us to give our pieces a signature look".
