The Eclipse collection was born of the observation of this rare and fascinating phenomenon that plays with light. Dressed in the Eclipse motif, lamp n°302 stands out for its refined silhouette and pure lines.

Sober and elegant, it plays on the contrasts and warmth of Nordic-inspired design.
The name of the lamp corresponds to the number of folds needed to achieve the shape.

Lucie Leroux is a craft designer and founder of Laboratoire Textile studio.

Trained in design and architecture in France, and in textile design in Canada, she began her career in architectural lighting and 3D modeling. It was while working on large-scale projects such as the Shanghai World Expo that she became interested in light and patterns.

She launched Laboratoire Textile in 2012, a playground where she explores textile design through various research and creative projects.

Inspired by Nordic sobriety, since 2018 Lucie Leroux has been patiently designing and handcrafting lamps in Montreal.

Laboratoire Textile's approach is deliberately low-tech and focused on the slowness of the creative process, the object itself being an invitation to contemplation.
