Mariel Pohlman sketched the skyline from her point of view in Deep Ellum and gave Big Tex King Kong-like proportions. The mural also features Atlas Obscura and Sam Walton's Ercoupe 4150C historical plane arriving to the city skyline to commemorate the arrival of Wal-Mart's DFW Technology Office.
