"It's All Connected"
75x20ft spray paint on brick.
I had never heard of Defuniak Springs before a building owner reached out about this project and the name alone had me curious about this place.
They had seen my work at Blackberry Mountain and wanted me to create something for their city in a similar style which was my post graffiti organic wild style linework. This piece would be the first non historical type mural in Defuniak Springs, so we wanted to come up with something that was fun, wild, vibrant, relatable, with lots of movement and elements of Florida but abstracted. I added alot of the native and state animals, fish and plants to the mix, all encompassed by a reference to the perfectly circular lake in the center of the city. It's a quaint little town about 30 miles inland from the coast of Florida on the panhandle.
I met so many awesome people while painting and the vibe but nothing but positivity, so thank you for having me.
