You see dark clouds gathering on the horizon, but the beauty of the contrast of light and shadow, and the promise of a cooling rain, entices you to be brave. You feel the wind hit your face like an encouraging word, and you continue putting one foot in front of the other, following the path ahead. This dramatic, sweeping view of the stunning Lake District landscape can bring a breath of fresh air into your home.

This gorgeous fine art giclee print of my original painting “Into the Storm" is printed with archival ink on heavy, beautiful fine art paper. If properly cared for, it will last for generations.

Landscape artist bringing light and nature into your space

I'm an American painter born and raised in Virginia, and I recently spent 3 glorious years living in the English countryside with my husband and our two boys. Creating allows me to breathe and feel truly grounded more than anything else- it is a part of who I am.

During our time in the UK, I was endlessly inspired by the landscapes of that incredible island. I draw most of my inspiration from nature, especially from our travels in the UK and on the European mainland, but also from the beautiful scenes in my hometown on the East Coast. Mountains, water, woods, and big skies are where I feel most at home. I believe the beauty of nature should be brought inside our homes and workspaces- to breathe life, peace, and glory into our everyday lives.
