When the pandemic hit I decided to use materials I had on hand. I sewed scraps of old shirts onto topographical maps and printed on the combination. My practice seemed out of time and place and I felt free to explore color and texture in ways I hadn't before. It was a grounding as I connected myself to the maps of Vermont.
