About: You have NEVER seen a runner like this because we are obsessed with rugs and WE have never seen a runner like this. The iconic Geometric medallion motifs running through the center - yes we've seen this design - it's lovely. However, it's the earthy color combo with the magnificent use of espresso to ground it, clay to center it, medium blue to cool it, green to bless it with that natural and uplifting feel, sky blue to take it to the next level, and of course antique beige to bring the airy cloud-like whisper to calm it down. Not only is the design and colors majestic, but the weave and quality of the wool is next level. They took probably twice as long on this piece as another rug from this exact same region - why? Because look how many colors they used. Look at the natural clay field color instead of a common red. Look at the masterful crispness in the design which isn't common for tribal and village weavings. The size alone is perfect for a modern space that can take a relatively narrow width for the length of this size. It is infinitely earthy with such fun colors to add that depth and interest that any art lover can enjoy. This piece is one of the best runners we have ever seen!
This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one available. Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.
We always recommend a high-quality custom cut pad for any and all rugs; these pads are made for hand-knotted rugs. They create a body and support the knots of the rug, as well as prevent it from slipping and sliding.
