The family was very involved in the design of the panel. We explored many ways Ganesha had been depicted in paintings and combined ideas to come up with our own portrayal. Sometimes a client requests progress photos, The details are painted and silver stained, then fired in the kiln. The family came over to visit the fabrication several times so they could witness the steps, they were so excited!
