Spela Kocevar, architect and furniture designer, operates under the brand name eliz evar.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has engaged in numerous international architectural projects, both independently and as part of a team, providing her with valuable insights into client needs, particularly regarding furniture.

Driven by a passion for product design, Spela began her foray into woodworking shortly after graduating from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. Exploring various creative fields, from interior design to handbag design, she discovered her affinity for fabric manipulation, which now heavily influences her work. Subsequently, she decided to relocate to Germany to advance her career.

Inspired by colors, shapes, and different textures, Spela always seeks to inject a playful aspect or a unique twist into her designs. For her, having fun creating and aiming to craft pieces that are fun for the user are fundamental driving forces behind her design philosophy.
