FramE is a side table designed with the intention of valuing the marble/stone top.
The leg structure is intended as a 3D Frame inspired by Piet Mondrian paintings.
It comes in different varieties. In this case, we used the beautiful Rain Forest marble. You can touch and see the story of the material. Rain Forest is a very particular, almost choreographic Indian marble, available in two color variants: Rain Forest Green and Rain Forest Brown. Rain Forest is a lesser-known type of stone called serpentinite, a rock composed of one or more minerals from the serpentine group. It is a metamorphic rock (like marble) that has undergone serpentinization, a set of chemical and mechanical reactions at relatively low temperatures that have produced this material on the ocean floor and then risen to the surface. The name of Serpentinites derives from the word snake because they are materials with a reticulated design and generally tend to be green that is somewhat reminiscent of the skin of a snake.
