I was born in Chisinau, Moldova, in 1969.

I got my Master's degree in the Academy of Music as a pianist and a teacher.

At the same time I played in the theater for young people and participated in making theatrical costumes. My hobbies at the time included sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering and more.

So, when I came to the United States in 1995, I earned my degree in fashion design from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

I started to work in the industry and came up with the idea of using scraps of fabrics for making collages.

Since then I have been making oil paintings, watercolors, paintings on silk, leather, ceramics, jewelry, creating fashion dolls, felting, and more.
