Série Cyanotypes
The cyanotype is an old monochrome negative photographic process with which a photographic print of Prussian blue, cyan blue, etc. is obtained.
It’s possible to make partial tones of cyanotypes (tannin, tea, wine, coffee, vegetable dyes, etc.) to change the tone of the blue.
In a minimalist and poetic style inspired by the nature that surrounds me, I accessed this approach as an act of contemplation, a bubble of calm and serenity with a state of mind where the notions of delicacy, dreamlike evocation and aesthetics took on their full meaning. . .

Time to see... Time to watch... The time to feel....the meaning of the work for Self.…

Born in Loire Atlantique, France, Christine Pacaud grew up in a quiet little French town and now resides between the Dominican Republic and France. From her childhood, the colors and the creations of images fascinate her. After earning a degree in fashion styling and training as a personal image consultant, she moved to the United States. It was only in 1997 that she became a professional painter and her passion for painting was fully expressed. Multidisciplinary, abstract painter, painting is for her an endless adventure, a source of aspiration to freedom! MIXED MEDIA, visual art based on mixed techniques, sculpture, allows her to express herself freely, and opens the doors to her to welcome different skills and make contrasting and sometimes contradictory ideas coexist in her. And therein lies the deepest part of his creativity and his humanity.

Since her childhood Christine thinks in colors, remembers in colors, her emotions are connected to colors... Colors constitute the skeleton of her work and the constant source of her inspiration whatever the medium used. To such an extent that she is the main subject of his work.
What does the artist want the most? She hopes that her work as a whole, rich in several
artistic strata, resonates and awakens beautiful emotions, provided you take the time to ...
Time to see...

The time to feel....the meaning of the work for Self.
