Bill Buyok founded Avente Tile in 2003 after a personal renovation project led him all over southern California in search of the perfect cement tile. He eventually found what he was looking for, but the experience convinced him to give up his career as a field engineer at a Fortune 500 company and start his own tile company.

Avente offers a large selection of handcrafted decorative ceramic tiles, field tiles and encaustic cement tiles in both classic and contemporary designs. Created by skilled artisans, Avente tiles are hand-made, one tile at a time. They are ideal for backsplashes, borders, accent tiles and flooring for commercial and residential applications.
