Brian grew up in Portland, Oregon. He spent his youth drawing, and much of his adult life painting and wood carving. In the late 1990's he unearthed his greatest passion when he began sculpting with recycled metal. His self-taught welding skills have since evolved with an unusual degree of artistry and craftsmanship.

"I am intrigued by the challenge of creating an entirely unique piece of art from a random collection of discarded and often commonplace objects. Giving these old, ordinary items a new life as one sculpture is an artistically demanding, yet gratifying, process. My sculptures are also designed to encourage viewer engagement. Audience reactions fuel my motivation and help bring my visions to life," he says.

Brian's work has been purchased by a number of luxury hotels across the country, by "Ripley's Believe It or Not" museum, and by countless international collectors. His sculptures can be seen in galleries in New York, San Francisco, and on Maui.

Brian lives in Aloha, Oregon, with his wife (and assistant) Karen.
