"Femme d'Elegance" is sculpted from a solid block of Calacatta Marble and placed atop a black granite base using an Italian brass turning pin which allows the sculpture to be turned 360 degrees. The sculpture, with base, measures 74Hx20Wx15D inches. Femme d'Elegance can be installed indoors or outside depending on the client's desires.
The marble first brought to us by Michelangelo, Calacatta Marble is a luxury stone that is exceptional in appearance. Its rarity results from the fact that it is only available from one quarry in the world, located in Carrara, Italy, where its production is limited and well-controlled, which lend to the rarity, and expense, of this high-end stone. Calacatta Marble is distinctive with its thick, bold veining and soothing white background. In fact, the whiter the background, the more expensive and desirable the stone.
