Farfalla is a stunning writing desk shown here in Zebrano and Black Walnut. The inward curving shape at the front and back suggest the shape of a butterfly, hence the Italian name for same. Custom commissions in an almost limitless selection of hardwoods are welcome.

Imaginative and meticulously crafted solid wood furniture designs found nowhere else.

My woodworking journey began almost 4 decades ago. I began using only the most basic of tools, building simple and practical woodworking projects for my growing family. I worked in a cramped garage attached to our abode, placing many limitations as to when and how I could work.

Fast forward to today. Design aesthetic drives all that I do. Functionality has moved to the background. Meticulous craftsmanship is the top priority. Because if a design is not executed perfectly, what would be the point?

My woodworking shop now is state-of-the-art and no longer the size of a closet. My focus is creating high-end furniture of my own design. I never mass-produce anything and all my work is one-off, completely hand-made and intended to be appreciated by a select few.

Over the years, I have been invited to and/or have exhibited my work at shows in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington DC, Chantilly VA, Northampton MA, Southampton NY and various locations in Upstate New York. My work has been shipped to clients across the United States, not to mention the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Australia.

To this day, I continue to create new designs, try different techniques and sample new wood species in order to update, refresh and expand my portfolio. The rewards are many but the greatest reward of all is to have appreciative individuals praise my work, fall in love and then make an acquisition.
