This piece is great, the sharp blue corona of the eclipse of Jupiter is really eye catching, defining a gorgeous curve of roughly a quarter of an eclipsed sphere. The radiant colors of paints and stains coming off the sphere mix so beautifully with the grain of the wood, creating a swirling sort of space-dust feeling. I'm really in love with space, and eclipses...I think this really captures the magical feeling an eclipse gives.
This particular piece was a custom request, so the EXACT piece pictured is not available, but it can be recreated or customized however you'd like. Different size? Orientation? Color palette? No problem, just let me know what you'd like and I'm sure we can find a way to make you something beautiful.
