This is another of those artworks that started out with color being the main inspiration. The inspiration was actually more of a challenge. And it was to use pink as the dominant color, since that is not a color that I would ever think of as the one that I would normally use in a very obvious way in a painting. Especially in an abstract painting. I decided to use blue and black to contrast with, and compliment the different hues of pinks. And as expected, the darker colors amplified the pinks which ended up making them the star of the piece.
Acrylic Print Description
The work is offered as a 48 x72” print on optically clear, premium polished acrylic. An alternate choice is offered as an acrylic print 40 x 60.” These prints are done on the same type of acrylic panels that is sometimes paired with metal prints; ie premium, crystal clear, polished acrylic. The image is printed right up to the edge of the sheet without leaving any areas of transparency with really jaw-dropping results. These are the perfect prints to bring just the right amount of drama into a space, The perfect type of art to elevate a contemporary, modern, transitional and even minimalistic decor.
