Empower yourself through the healing vibrations of color!

My dream as an artist is that my clients will experience and be empowered by the healing vibrations of color as I have.

My art’s impact comes from a moment when my stroke of energy and colors collide. An organic flow. It’s always exciting for me to see what’s on the other side of it. Dripping with possibilities. Endless color combinations. I have discovered that whether bold or quiet . . . color empowers. Frank Mahnke says “Color creates a sensory experience that impacts us physiologically.’" This is why I paint!

My minimal strokes continue to find their way to incredible spaces around the globe, including 22 pieces in the stunning Mira Hotel Hong Kong, SF Hilton Union Square, DW Bistro in Las Vegas, Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw, iFreedom Direct and SLCC in Salt Lake City, the Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah, One Turnberry Place in LV, and Mexico, etc. My strength is being able to collaborate with clients, whether private collectors, designers, or architects to create the piece that fits their vision—sensing their energy and that of the space. Coming up with new innovative ideas--the sky is the limit. This by far is my favorite thing to do. https://pamelanielsen.com/collections/projectz

A little bit on how it all began . . . In 2003, while mixing my inspirational vocal CD, "i am free", a celebration of God’s healing power in my life from memories of childhood abuse, I heard a voice whisper in my right ear "go buy plates and paint on them". So I did. I was inspired by the colors of the chakras--7 energy centers in the human body that receive, assimilate and distribute energy.  Having never painted before, I was amazed at what was pouring out of me as I glided my tools across metal and acrylic. Painting these vibrant colors catapulted me from darkness to light. I envisioned my BIG PIECES in BIG SPACES, but it took me awhile to get there. It was a process--a lot of experimentation. I went from painting small plates to 12'x4' metal and acrylic pieces. I created my own tools so that I can make a smooth 3'-12', or more, stroke. I love the way these tools glide along the surface--in one movement. Most of my art titles capture the emotions connected to the chakras, and the "Z" comes from my maiden name Gerzeli.

A little bit more about me --I was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to SLC when I was 11. Loving the arts of every kind, I dabbled in pastels, calligraphy, cartoons, and even ventured into piano performance playing a concerto at the Spokane World's Fair. Being extremely right-brained, I took up singing as well as acting, appearing on various television commercials, TV series, voiceovers, and print work. But my claim to fame is being an extra in the blue-dart scene on "Dumb & Dumber." lol Too fun!

Feel free to message or email me with any questions you might have for creating the color energy stroke for your space. Or the pieces I have listed here. Thanks so much for taking the time to experience my art! God bless. art@pamelanielsen.com
