Jatte with primitive patterns are a magnificent masterpiece of the women of the village of Sejnane located in the hills of northwest Tunisia. The potters of this region have inherited and preserved from generation to generation since antiquity this ancestral “know-how” which is today classified as a UNESCO world heritage site.
The decoration is a naive art, composed of stylized patterns colored in black representing animals, fish, birds, turtles, camels, snakes and also geometric patterns, checkers, broken, wavy, circular and plant lines, palm trees.
The motifs of a naive art, unconventional form made thanks to their imagination and creativity of these potteries will bring character and authenticity to your interior.
Both decorative and functional, this bowl will find its place in many rooms of the house.
Diameter 26-28 cm, Height 5.50 - 7 cm
