These screws are top quality iron with a satin black oxide finish. Pyramid head screws can be mounted with an 8 point socket, Acorn screws with a flat head screwdriver. Be sure to use the appropriate sized screwdriver or socket. While the black oxide finish is high quality, it can still be marred if care is not taken when installing. Pre drilled pilot holes are HIGHLY recommended to reduce force when mounting.
