Radical Beauty: Surround yourself in Art!

Boston born, I am an incurably creative adventurer who relocated to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. As a photographer and designer, I believe in making objects that contain both aesthetic and symbolic beauty. My patterns begin as high-resolution photographs, which I playfully and meticulously reassemble into new forms. The end products are sublime designs of their own, with surreptitious elements waiting to be discovered. I use my very own technique of "digital embroidery," which is a byproduct of my internationally recognized visual artwork, to create these patterns. I manage every detail of design from beginning concept to end product. I am also a master printer, dancer, and member of the prestigious Gravityworks circus arts troupe. I currently live in Mexico with my two daughters whom I have raised biculturally. To view my visual artwork please visit rianderson.com.
