Stunning, dimensional, unique fabric painting. Dyes, thread, heat transfers, oil paint, microbeading, acrylic. Chinoiserie fabric has been dyed and hand painted. Free motion machine embroider -- a method of "painting" with thread on a sewing machine, embellishes much of the work. Trapunto -- stuffed -- has popped out the tree and other elements. Mixed media materials and techniques give this piece so much gorgeous, sumptuous detail. No other like, nor will there ever be. Something truly special!
