This work was commissioned for Employee Retirement Systems of Texas, and is comprised of fluid painted layers of plexiglass over a suspended work on paper to create interplay and dimension. Plexiglass size, composition, color palette and hardware completely customizable. Free estimate upon request.

Abstract Artist with a passion for color

Julie’s practice includes exhibitions, commissions, wallpaper design, corporate installations with Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, United Heritage Credit Union, and Kendra Scott, as well as print collaborations with national retailers such as Wexel Art, Four Hands Art Studio, Perigold and HomeGoods. She has participated in dozens of exhibitions from coast to coast and recently opened a dedicated gallery showroom in Canopy, an arts hub in Austin. She received her BFA from The University of Delaware in 2000 and spent a decade as an Advertising Art Director, followed by a break for motherhood before becoming a full-time artist in 2017. Julie passionately soaks up life and squeezes out color from her home studio in Austin where she lives with her husband and 2 sons.
