Original watercolor 18" x 24" in in contemporary gold frame. This scene is a familiar one to me, given that I grew up just blocks away. It features an alley of live oaks which were planted prior to the Oleander area being developed in Wilmington NC. Original watercolor features bright vibrant Holbein colors. Quality Arches watercolor block is the substrate.

Elizabeth Sheats is a Wilmington, North Carolina native who enjoys painting and interior design. Her style is strongly influenced by the coastal environment of Southeastern NC. Nature’s impact shows up in the colors, textures, and motifs of Elizabeth’s art and interiors.  Elizabeth enjoys blending old and new and isn't afraid to spice up her artwork and interiors with the unexpected. She is a co-founder of the Wilmington Art Collective and currently is a member of the Wilmington Art Association. Her work is exhibited throughout the region and she often enters juried shows and shows with the Collective.
