Collaborating with the interior designers on a complete office fitout within a corporate space over looking the harbour in North Sydney. The brief to reflect the energy of Sydney Harbour with a large statement piece to greet clients as they entered reception. Aqua 1 was created within my vibrant light filled studio located in the heart of Sydney’s harbour side village of Balmain and is now proudly hanging at this prestigious firm. Aqua 1 was an extension to my LUXE series of works.

The Contemporary Luxe body of work focuses on the tonal combinations of rich and luscious colour together with the simpler considered form of the fluid organic circle, influenced in part by our Australian culture – an Island Continent surrounded by water. Created and designed in collaboration with Sydney’s leading and award winning interior designers the Contemporary Luxe series of works are designed to be installed in multiples, however each work is visually developed, strong and striking will create impact as a stand alone work. Prolifically producing strong considered bodies of work, Lara’s coveted artworks are beautiful in organic form, line, shape and composition.
