Fragments to Masterpiece
Originally from Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia and briefly living in Adelaide, South Australia before finally settling in the South-East of Melbourne, Victoria; Grace feels that she is in the perfect place to further inspire her journey as an artist. The place she resides in is surrounded by beautiful landscapes such as The Dandenong Ranges, local botanical gardens and The Mornington Peninsula, just to name a few.
Grace's art is inspired by her past and recent travels while combining it with everyday life emotions to create her unique pieces. Self-taught aerial abstract and textural artist, she has the freedom to explore and experiment with different techniques using a variety of media, tone and textures. These are some of the ways she could express and introduce her style of painting on to the canvas; and most recently the launch of her handmade wearable art jewellery pieces.
Every piece has its own unique story to tell, and has a different time frame; depending on the process of the layering and technique used. The beauty of her aerial abstract and textural art is that she never knows where the process may take her. She enjoys the mystery, wonder, beauty and dedication that each piece requires from her. Grace's love for meeting new people and traveling around locally, interstate or overseas provides her with amazing opportunities to experience different types of lifestyle experiences from a range of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Grace often combines the natural surroundings of Mother Nature and her travel experiences as inspiration to evoke her creative mind by using vivid colours in representing harmonious life, culture and diversity. Her approach and interests are continuously evolving. Currently, she's focusing more on themes of love, positivity and speaking life onto others. She lives with her biggest fans, her husband and two beautiful children.
