Acrylic layering technique with soft gloss finish shimmers in the light. This bright blue painting is paired with a light blue painting that makes a striking and modernist pair of artworks. This painting is called Connection Synapses because it remind the artist of the synapses in our brain's circuity, which is the channel for communication between neurons. This artwork comes with the following accompanying poem printed and framed.

Connection. Synapses.

This space between us

Doesn’t exist

Jump the divide

The gap

That is the circumstances

In our lives

Here, now

You complete me

The circuitry of us

Bold, Bright, Abstract Minimalist Works Perfect for the Modern Home or Business

Kerry's artwork is uber modernist in a sense. Her work is bold and unique abstract representations of form, but these forms interplay with each other and express a type of relationship, an abstract tension, or a metaphorical mood or sense of story. She also explores human relationships and allegory through abstract figurative works that often explores the themes of relationships and alienation (often only expressed in black and white). Her works are accompanied with a poem, each written specific for the work, and adds a deeper interpretation and exploration of the artwork's theme.

Kerry received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Davis, where she studied under the New York artist, Jane Rosen. She holds an M.A. in Creative Writing and is a published poet. She has exhibited throughout the United States, including Washington D.C., Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Her works are held in private and corporate collections, internationally.
