Original abstract paintings and prints connecting with the viewer through abstraction.

Kim Powell is an American multidisciplinary artist who creates work based on intuitive abstraction, rich in color and bursting with movement and depth. She earned a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and continued her studies in painting at Bellas Artes in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. In 2010, she studied painting with American painter John Alexander via the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design.

In 2017, she was part of the Eros group painting exhibition, curated by Andrew Fisher of the Fisher-Wiseman Collection. There, she examined sensuality and the abstraction of the human body. A solo exhibition soon followed, exploring questions surrounding cultural identity and how countries have unique visual languages. Powell's current work explores channels of awareness, and as interconnected beings, she invites viewers to visit a realm beyond the physical but in a space-between.

Powell exhibits regularly, both online and off. Most recently, she participated in a group exhibition at the George Washington Carver Museum in Austin, Texas. Powell also works with creative directors and art consultants, providing unique work for special projects. Her work is collected internationally.
