Hand crafted decorative ceramic art featuring illustrated mishima design and atmospheric firing
My work focuses on functional forms inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, and features illustrated mishima (inlaid) design. Atmospheric firing creates surface variation eluding to the passage of light through time. I soda or wood-fire the majority of my work. I am currently the Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. I received my Master of Fine Arts Ceramic Arts is from Hood College.
