Handmade ceramic vases, the perfect size for displaying flower buds and succulent clippings.
These bud bases are a combination of wheel thrown and mold formed pieces. Hand assembled and glazed inside and out. The white satin glaze plays off the randomly carved texture.
Pricing is for one ceramic piece: 2" tall x 4" wide.

Modern Ceramics and Jacquard Weavings

My ceramic work features clean lines and simple shapes with bold use of contrasting colors and textures. I hand assemble each piece from a combination of wheel thrown and slump molded elements. Likewise, my textile designs feature abstract forms and patterns, which are custom woven on a jacquard loom, for my wall art elements and pillow coverings. With my life-long experience as a typeface designer, I continue exploring the relationships between various abstract shapes, and forming them into structural systems.
