Backyard atmosphere, barbecue time with friends and sunny day, this was the Braza 5 architectural project briefing. These expressions were taken from the concept to creation for first restaurant bear the brand name.
Located in one of potentially growth neighborhoods in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, this edification was carefully chosen to meet the project needs. However, the problem would arise from the moment that the entire building would already be compromised due to the numerous reforms already carried out.
Restaurants are complex spaces that must provide good services, and physical and emotional experiences through their environments, and for that, the flows need to be well aligned to the operational mode, in addition to well-defined design concepts.
The meal space was prioritized in the noblest area of the building, with double height and greater amount of ventilation and natural light, where the entire wooden structure is exposed adhering to the project's concept. In this space is concentrated the largest number of tables and chairs, having several possibilities of combinations to attend groups of consumers. In this space, the predominant material are colonial bricks and hallow brick made of clay, as well as elements in locksmiths that make up the decoration and lighting. At the end of the dining hall, the toilets of no gender are installed, which is divided into individual by through OSB's plates, and a slate stone washbasin stand that serves users.
In the dining hall, there is also a steel door that opens completely, leaving it communicable to the facade balcony, where outside landscape invade indoor, this being one of the most requested places for Happy Hours and the evening time present in this neighborhood.
For the building with the lowest ceiling, is placed the entire technical area, where some walls and openings have been reconfigured, to obtain an exclusive entrance to the sector, with independent circulation, making it possible to access the administrative area, kitchens, storage, and garbage, regardless of the operating hours of the house.
In addition to the business plan, at different times, a boutique with items and accessories for consumers is installed at the entrance of the restaurant, increasing the turnover of the house. Nearby, 10 taps of different types of beer are expertly installed, for autonomous use, which will be visible in different points of the store or in the lounge, being an invitation to consumption.
